Trunk Group Configuration with an Edgemarc Router

Scenario A

Broadworks Configuration

Configure Broadworks Trunk Group
- Enable Authentication and set Authentication User Name and Password
- Add Identity/Device Profile
  - Generic SIP PBX device
- Add Pilot User
Configure Broadworks Users
- Ensure that all trunk group members, including the Pilot User do not have the Authentication service

Edgemarc Configuration

Configure B2BUA according to the SIP trunk to IP-PBX guide
- Pilot User Line/Port # is the Registration User
- Trunk Group Authentication User Name and Password is the Auth-User and password
Configure FXS lines
- SIP Username is the Line/Port # for each individual user
- SIP Authentication Name and Password is the Trunk Group Authentication User Name and Password

Scenario C

Broadworks Configuration

Configure Broadworks Users
- Set Identity Device Profile
  - Device Type should be Generic SIP Phone
Set Line Port
Set Authentication User Name and Password

Edgemarc Configuration

Configure FXS Lines
- SIP Username is the Line/Port # for each individual user
- SIP Authentication Name and Password is the Authentication User Name and Password for each individual user
